odd-man-out
Lately it seems as though I have been thrust into the world as the trusty third-wheel, fifth-wheel, seventh-wheel, you get the picture. It seems as though ALL of my friends have suddenly found themselves hooked up, leaving me as the only single person of the bunch, which leads to me always being the odd one out (if I'm even invited along, that is). Now, normally I am perfectly happy being single, but when you are surrounded by happy couples flaunting their happy relationships 24/7, you can't help but become a little bitter. It seems as though my bitterness has escalated since finishing my senior show, because I don't have much else to focus my time on. Anyone else feel this lately? Or is it really just me who is still stuck in singledom?

senior show and review
today was my senior show review. i can't believe how long it took. we started at 8:30 and finished after 3pm. my review went pretty well. the day flew by. i can't believe that today was THE day that i have been preparing for since the beginning of college, and now it's over. it seemed so monumental, but yet at the same time like something was lacking. afterwards we tore down our shows. it was amazing how little time it spent to take it down while when we put it up it took an entire day.
tonight we're going out as a class. i'm rather excited, i hope it ends as the perfect conclusion to a semi-monumental day.

Here is a photo of my pumpkin that i carved for the annual vcd pumpkin carving contest. I was two votes away from winning :( Shucks, I could've been the reigning champion.
