While I was in Portland, I had the pleasure of catching a live show at the Doug Fir Lounge. At first I was disappointed because a band that I really love (A Fine Frenzy) was going to be there the day after I left. We decided to go anyway even though we didn't know who was playing. It turned out that Nicole Atkins & the Sea were the headliners. They were amazing. The next day I bought their album on iTunes, and have been playing it nonstop since.
