yoga

I bought a new yoga video the other day. It has both an AM workout and a PM workout. I bought it with every intention of getting up and doing yoga before work, however, dragging my ass out of bed 20 minutes earlier has proven to be more difficult than I imagined. Does anyone have any tips to waking up earlier that don't involve going to bed earlier?

single life

I've been complaining A LOT lately about being single. So, I thought today I'd write a post that focuses on the things I like about being single (in a desperate attempt to make me feel better about myself). So here it is, my top five reasons why being single is so WAY better than being in a relationship:

1. While I do always have to pay for myself to eat or see a movie, I never have to pay the way for anyone else or feel bad about letting someone pay for me.

2. I never have to call to check in with someone on a regular basis. Nobody gets mad if I simply don't feel like talking that day.

3. I get the entire bed to myself! Yay, I love being able to lie all sprawled out across my bed and not have to be all cramped up and worried about waking someone else up if I move around too much.

4. I never have to put up with snoring/heavy breathing while trying to sleep.

5. I don't have to worry about shaving my legs regularly. My legs can be super hairy all week long b/c I know I'm not getting any.

new years resolutions

Okay, I'm a little late with this, but it is finally 2008. Which means that with the new year, I should be making my New Years resolutions. I have quite a few this year so we will do a top ten list. Here we go:

10. Eat breakfast daily
9. Go to bed at a decent time on week nights
8. Finish a knitting project
7. Keep my house clean
6. Drink less soda
5. Eat less fast food
4. Keep in better contact with all friends
3. Work out on a regular basis
2. Be more open/outgoing with people
1. Find a job outside of Kearney

Well there you have it. We'll see if I can keep those.
