tornado alley part deux

I hate tornados. Yeah that's right I said it. I used the H word. Tonight I was peacefully sleeping when I woke up because I had to pee. As I crawled back into bed I noticed it was kinda stormy out so I thought I'd check weather.com before heading back to sleep and at the top of the page in red it said "tornado warning". I freaked. I faintly heard the sirens. I grabbed a sweatshirt and flip flops and booked it to the shelter to find about 10 people down there who told me that a tornado touched down around 132nd, which is not that far from me.

What if I hadn't had to pee? I totally would have just slept through the whole thing. Everyone else in my building slept through it. Let's make the sirens louder people!!

I will asses the damage tomorrow and get back to you. As for now it's 4:00am and I need some sleep.
